The 14th annual Sergeant Nutter Run will take place on Saturday, June 9th, 2017 at the Army National Guard Training Center in Sea Girt, NJ. Each year, the NJ Army National Guard (NJ ARNG) family holds a benefit 5K run in the memory of Sergeant Samuel Nutter. SGT Nutter (1966-2005) was a member of the NJ ARNG and served in the U.S. Navy from 1989-97. He passed away following a lengthy battle with cancer, leaving behind a wife and 3 children.

The SGT Nutter, INC. (SNO) is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization administered by the Officer Candidate School of the New Jersey Army National Guard. The Sergeant Nutter Organization exists to raise money to benefit the lives of National Guard families in need and 100 percent of proceeds go to the hands of the beneficiary.
